EP001 – Lusitanian Ghosts OST (June 2019)

The original soundtrack from the Lusitanian Ghosts feature documentary film by André Miranda. Features the Lusitanian Ghosts Main Theme by composer Rui Ribeiro, the Action Theme by Ricardo Ferreira, as well as several instrumental tracks from the Lusitanian Ghosts album – plus songs by O Gajo, Omiri and Primitive Reason as well as an unreleased demo by Neil Leyton and Micke Ghost, working on the song “Memories of a Once Familiar Future”, as well as a live-off-the-floor take of Lusitanian Ghosts’ “Let it Soar”.

EP002 – Lusitanian Ghosts (GSA / Scandinavian release only, coming August 2019)

Debut album by the Lusitanian Ghosts artist collective, licensed by European Phonographic for the GSA and Scandinavian markets. Featuring Neil Leyton, Micke Ghost, João Sousa, Omiri, O Gajo, and Primitive Reason’s Abel Beja performing their very own brand of rock n roll on traditional Portuguese chordophone instruments: the violas Amarantina, Beiroa, Braguesa, Campaniça, Terceira, and Toeira – they are the real Lusitanian Ghosts.

EP003 – O Gajo – Lisbon Express (Coming September 2019)

O Gajo is a project of the Portuguese rock’n’roll musician João Morais, with the intention of connecting his music back to Portugal, through his Viola Campaniça.

The Viola Campaniça is a Portuguese traditional chordophone instrument used to accompany the traditional chants of the south region of Portugal, Alentejo. It is the largest of the Portuguese chordophones and has 5 orders of strings traditionally played by picking and strumming only with the thumb. O Gajo innovates on this tradition via his very own Campaniça approach, technique and sound.

Lisbon Express, the first album out of Lusitanian lands, will be released on Friday September 13th by European Phonographic and distributed by Level: Up (digital) and Broken Silence (CD). The album also features two brand new, unreleased tracks as well as O Gajo’s first two Portuguese EP releases of 2019.
